It's A . . . .

We had our ultrasound this morning and found out we are having a BOY!!

Can you believe it!! 3 little boys. I'll never have a moments peace again!! Just kidding, We are very excited and are taking suggestions on names :>

Bear Lake

BEAR LAKE

Each year for Memorial Weekend we go camping at Bear Lake for a family reunion of sorts. This was the first year we tented it. It also poured rain everyday and most nights, thus the tarps. We stayed surprisingly dry and not too cold, though I must admit I prefer the motor home.

Jake is an awesome bubble blower.

The guys all made roll cages for their cars this year. I think they were tired of replacing the cracked plastic bodies after they crashed.

Pirates of Bear Lake

We have theme nights and Saturday was Pirates. We painted swords, had a treasure hunt, and raided the other camp. Our family also dressed up in our Pirate Gear.

Our Anniversary

It has been 9 years since Todd and I were married. Wow time flies!! I don't feel that old. Tuesday night I had meetings, Wed. he had Young Men, and Thursday I had to cover an other ward's Children's Class, so we didn't really see each other until Friday, but I realized how much I still love to be with him. He was a sweetheart and I woke up to 9 beautiful roses and a very sweet card. I wish I had done more for him, but I just want everyone to know how grateful I am that he is my husband, and I truly love him more and more each year.

I Love You

Jake is starting to talk. He has recently started to say I Love You. It is so cute I had to record and post it.

Easter

The boys woke up early to look for their baskets and eggs. After Jake found a few eggs, he was more interested in eating the candy than looking for more.

The boys got Spiderman costumes because they love to dress up. Michael tells me Jake is the good Spiderman and Michael is the bad Spiderman. They have been wearing them almost all day. Dressing for Church was not easy.

After Church the Carter's all came over for our quarterly birthday party. We had dinner, an egg hunt, and presents.

And had a great time looking for eggs.

These last couple are just a few funny ones of Michael. This is his St. Patrick's Day Hat. Notice the leprechan footprints on his hands.

This is the potatoe head helmet and mask, but Michael loves to wear it, or hold it up to others. What a character.

Our Addition

10 Weeks Old

Due October 29th

I do not have a face to see,

Or put inside a frame.

I do not have soft cheeks to kiss,

I don't yet have a name.

You can't yet hold my tiny hands,

'nor whisper in my ear.

It's still too soon to sing a song, or cuddle me so near.

But all will change come winter time,

I'll be the 3rd, 8th, and 15th grandchild; I can't wait till I meet you.

All I ask between now and then is your patience while I grow.

I promise I'll be worth the wait, because of all the love we'll know.

Birthdays

Jake, Michael, and Todd all have birthdays in January and February so we had a busy month. We were able to see family a couple of times and I had a surprise party for Todd with some friends and family.

Our neighbor Jenny made this awesome cake for Todd. He has always wanted a stack cake and it turned out so cute. I wish the photo did it justice. We had a group come over and play games. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of the group. Thanks for coming everyone!

Todd used his birthday money to buy a new shotgun.

Of course Michael wants to do everything Dad does, and Jake wants to do everything Michael does.

Michael and I fight over eating almost every night (or when ever it isn't the Mike approved food). He then tells me he is tired and sometimes goes to sleep.

Michael was so excited to open presents and loves everything he received.
